Is the building you find yourself in weakening the signal to and from the cell tower and lacking wireless internet? As the tide continues to shift toward mobile devices and the mobile web, devices have become more of a means to an end rather than the end itself. While there is no doubt that connection to the Internet through mobile broadband is critical, the debate now is whether native apps or web apps will rule supreme.

The Disadvantages of Mobile Learning (Only 5 years too late)
good mobile learning strategy can take advantage of even simple devices that cost little to nothing from most wireless carriers. Once again, we are graced with another article touting the problems with Mobile Learning. eHow gives us " The Disadvantages of Mobile Learning ". The main problem with this article, is it is at least five years out of date. Not only could this article have been written five years ago, it is pretty much a re-hash, word-for-word, of many of the same misconceptions. Let's address some of these myths. This is further evidence that this article is outdated.

Thoughts on the Current State of Mobile Devices
However, we have seen a major shift in the way we use communication technologies mainly because wireless access to the Internet has improved dramatically and major investments have been made, and continue to be made, in mobile hardware and software. Much of this shift has resulted from the massive improvements in wireless Internet access. Only a few short years ago, when mobile devices were still mainly cell phones and music players, the thought of a mobile revolution supplanting the computer revolution seemed distant. What will the immediate future of mobility look like?
