Signage, especially for registration from the transportation area, was lacking. Over my career I have become a technology "conference veteran" beginning with Comdex in the 80’s. This event grew to over 220,000 attendees and over 20,000 vendors. For several years I was privileged to be a judge for Best of Comdex, so became very familiar with the conference. Following the closing of this show, I have attended the Consumer Electronics Show (CES), but it never has reached the same size or stature of Comdex (in my opinion.) mHealth was evident though.) | UPSIDE LEARNING JULY 7, 2010 Interesting Mobile Statistics By Tomi Ahonen: mLearnCon Tickets: Helsinki Public Transportation has been offering mobile tickets since 2001. UPSIDE LEARNING | TUESDAY, JUNE 12, 2012 A Mobile Game World Once or twice a week I commute to the office using public transport. These days, I see more and more smart-phones – Android, BlackBerry, even the occasional iOS device (a rarity in India because of their relatively prohibitive cost; plus the typical iOS user in India is not one who takes public transport). Sitting on the bus for 20 minutes with not much to really do affords an opportunity to indulge in people watching. As a learning designer, it pays to watch what people are doing around me. The games being played are nothing like the games played on PCs and consoles. MORE >> -
