UPSIDE LEARNING | MONDAY, APRIL 2, 2012 Why Not A Snapguide For Your Workplace? I stumbled across this article at Gigaom.com talking about how Snapguide is trying to be the how to guide for everything – on your mobile. The idea is quite simple really – anyone can create and upload a step-by-step guide using text, photos, and videos for a particular task/topic then others can search and find a relevant guide when they need one. What’s great about this is you can do all of this using your phone. In my opinion, this is also the most impactful aspect of mobile learning in the workplace. Qik is a social networking tool that gives the cell phone video camera a reason for existing. Its simple and easy: a Twitter for those who prefer video. Apparently, the iPhones camera really is capable of shooting video, no matter what Apple says, but until Apple decides to offer video as a feature, no video apps will make it into the app section of the iTunes Store.
