We’re exciting with some of the emerging technologies that might allow us to address both of these obstacles in the months to come.
In relation to accountability, access becomes paramount—can those who lack financial means still find opportunities to read without having to pay? While it was enlightening to see Steve Jobs demonstrate what the iPad can do, I found it more interesting to see what the iPad cannot do. Tablet-like in size only, the iPad’s conformity to the iPhone OS, features and ergonomics suggest that we’re seeing Apple promote a renewed focus on empowering crowdsourced

The first thing to acknowledge is that while students in some districts are banned from using mobile technologies at school, teachers are not. The next thing to acknowledge is that few teachers have ever used cell phones or other mobile technologies as instructional tools so they need to develop comfort and experience doing so before trying to do this with their students. o Pockets of Potential: Using Mobile Technologies to Promote skip to main | skip to sidebar The Innovative Educator Sharing ideas about educating innovatively. Challenge Based Learning w’ Marco Torres
At this event, we got to hear in a conversational atmosphere from Marco’s substantial international perspective on how technology can engage learners and transform learning. Marco spoke about how the big challenge for the US in coming out of the financial crisis is to sove its problems in three areas: sustainability, health care, and education. I had the great pleasure this week of attending a colloqium with well-known ADE Marco Torres. The man himself teachers at a large (5000+) highschool in California, where he has just been named Educator of the year.
