I, for one, have always had the belief that mobile devices can be used to help student achieve in their learning because of the flexibility and access to content and collaboration tools that mobile devices allow. have always discussed the flexibility of digital devices as it related to both the consumption and production of content by both teachers and students. In the post, we will consider the use of mobile devices within the Flipped Classroom method. | IGNATIA WEBS AUGUST 30, 2011 Running race between open learning and formal higher education As the discussion on the future of higher education keeps on going, it is interesting to see how the presidents of colleges look upon these changes, particularly when looking at how top management looks at the pro's and con's of online learning. While known as a music player designed to allow users to consume music, developers have created apps that can transform the iPhone into a musical device to create music as well. This, however, is not the only way to use an iPhone as a musical device. THE MOBILE LEARNER | MONDAY, JUNE 29, 2009 iPods in Education Part 12: Customized Learning Using Apps There has been a gap of several months since I last shared ideas in the form of a blog post on the topic of using iPods in Education. While the introduction of the iPhone and the iPod Touch has changed the rules in how handheld devices can be used in education, this series has laid dormant as I’ve been in the process of catching up with the technology. As I did not own neither an iPod Touch nor an iPhone, I didn’t feel confident that I could confidently discuss the benefits of using such devices in education. That is, until now. MORE >> -
