Libraries have always provided education services such as reading programs. What I am suggesting, however, is that more investment is needed in digital spaces and more services provided online through webpages and through mobile devices. Another counter-balanced trend gaining momentum will be the use of eBook style delivery formats that make it easier to produce and manage long-form content that is far more feature rich than static PDF files. We have also just begun to witness the movement from the printed book to the digital book and 2010 is going to be a banner year for ebooks as it explodes into the market. In any case- it is clear that ebooks will evolve over time and will play a much bigger role in schools.
