Creating critical people does not necessarily mean all citizens will follow the same set of moral rules, but it might build people that know how to construct long term visions. like it because I struggle with a lot of dichotomies, just to conclude each time that the only thing dichotomies do for me is show me how I can become more critical by reading, studying both ends of a dichotomy. Social media helps us all to connect, we all learn at an increased pace, both in educational institutions, in our professional organizations/companies and just for ourselves. But how much of our learning

Vicki Owen's Topically Technological Library Blog: Case Study 2 – London School of Economics (LSE)
Assistive/Adaptive Technology, Access For All. In 2006, Mobile Commons’ platform was used in a study conducted by the New Voter’s Project, Princeton, and the University of Michigan . The results of the study were a wonderful surprise to us. The Obama Campaign realized this and constructed the VP announcement to help them build critical mass with their mobile list.
There’s been good coverage of Obama’s Vice Presidential announcement all over the web (particularly GigaOM and the NY Times ). While there has been some grumbling about the announcement coming a little late because CNN got the scoop,

Interactive technology keeps classes 'relevant'
quot; He said the district's studies of the effectiveness of some technology in education — specifically iPods and the iPod touch — indicated the multimedia approach improved students' knowledge retention. my journey into social media and why I became an evangelist
This resulted in a podcast with a couple of other people that also started studying again. but I still find it very useful to construct my own knowledge, engage in lifelong learning, keeping in contact with brainy people, getting ideas analysed and commented on. Karyn Romeis is working on a dissertation exploring the impact of the use of social media on the professional practice of learning professionals. Karyn would like to know your story as well, so add to her blogpost .
