RAPID INTAKE MOBILE LEARNING | WEDNESDAY, MARCH 30, 2011 Teaching from Mistakes: Why You Should Use Response-specific Feedback for Multiple Choice Questions in eLearning and mLearning We all know you can’t learn from your mistakes unless you know what you did wrong. That’s as true for e- learning as it is for life. When developing rapid e- learning courses, and we are designing multiple choice questions we're often tempted (because of timeline pressures) to write general feedback such as 'That's correct.' However, using a quiz as a learning reinforcement tool is a completely different matter. This gives the learner the opportunity to eventually find the right answer, learning more along the way. or 'That's incorrect.' they are wondering. MORE >> -
IGNATIA WEBS | THURSDAY, OCTOBER 21, 2010 #mLearn2010 Augmented Reality and Mobile Learning - some lessons learned by Gunnar Liestol this is why they want to put the things together, construct the technologies upfront. The mobility and the movement of the perspective also give extra value. As such the AR environment will work as a memory chamber of stuff you want to learn about. this is augmented learning with a vengeance!). in February 2010 with Parthenon with classical students, they said that the mobile should not be 'competing' with the real objects. In future versions of the Temple of Divus Iulius sitsim we also plan to include different interpretations of both objects and events. MORE >> -
IGNATIA WEBS | TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 27, 2012 Tin Can: learner #analytics for the next #research frontier What if you are looking for an easy, accessible learner analytics that does not only map access and timings, but actually allows trainers and teachers to take a more in-depth look into the actual learning? As I am researching learner interactions in a mobile accessible open, online course – I can see that access pushes forward learner interactions, and even meaningful, constructive learner interactions (research snippets will be shared soon, still getting my thesis together). Tin Can builds on SCORM, but takes learning/training data to the next level. Great! MORE >> -
