Critical pedagogy: people can learn, but that does not make them philanthropists
Creating critical people does not necessarily mean all citizens will follow the same set of moral rules, but it might build people that know how to construct long term visions. It is not because a person becomes self-aware, knowledgeable about the social and political world, that the individual will say: “now I will put all my energy and capital into improving the world for everyone, so we can be a happy blue planet”. Social media helps us all to connect, we all learn at an increased pace, both in educational institutions, in our professional organizations/companies and just for ourselves.

How to recode a course into a mobile accessible html course
To get CSS going, you can work with a WCSS or wap cascading style sheet to give your mobile courses extra layout energy. There are also other tools I use, which I have mentioned in a previous post (Opera mini, mobile validator…) If anybody is interested, the course (which is still under construction, did not get around to finish the WCSS before the holidays) is uploaded here . At ITM we make courses with different softwares depending on the content we want to get across. In this case the courses were initially made in eXe , with some interactive javascript and html as

my journey into social media and why I became an evangelist
My first personal dive into social media was because I had a rough time figuring out what I wanted to do with my life and especially whether the different route I was taking (getting a new degree) was worth the energy. but I still find it very useful to construct my own knowledge, engage in lifelong learning, keeping in contact with brainy people, getting ideas analysed and commented on. Karyn Romeis is working on a dissertation exploring the impact of the use of social media on the professional practice of learning professionals. Karyn would like to know your story as well, so add
