Steve is chair for the 6th Plymouth eLearning conference , which will take place in Plymouth from April 6 - 8, in 2011. This year the conference will focus on innovation including emerging technologies in education and training. and my idea is to go for a vision of the future (+ linking it to some mobile projects I am involved in).

I think this is the ultimate expression of learner-centricity in mobile learning. Most people involved in the m-learning arena are keenly focussed on ways for exploiting mobile digital devices for learning; but this mode of thinking may blinker us to less technological means of achieving equivalent learning outcomes.
