Flash Player On Devices – Going Mobile Just Got Easier
One of the best signs for those who make learning content is the Flash Player finally coming to mobile devices in large numbers. Some of you may be familiar with the trials Adobe has had in bringing the Flash player to the mobile area. It has actually been in use, in the form of Flash Lite for several years now. As one Google guy I spoke with recently said, “everyone is thinking about mobile.” 8221; And that is a really good thing for mobile learning.

SCORM Implementation For Mobile Devices
Availability of required technology/software like J2ME, a compatible browser
- A Web/ Browser Based Solution:
Mobile browsers now almost fully support JavaScript and this makes it possible to implement SCORM using JS support.
Here you will find that there is some variation in each mobile device browser. Recently we’ve made the UpsideLMS compatible to mobile devices and also launched a new version – UpsideLMS Version 4.0 . While ensuring compliance, we encountered some interesting issues in the implementation of SCORM and found very little help online

eLearning mash-up follow-up: Articulate presenter and Flash 10 compatibility
Just a quick note : a useful fix for those working with Articulate presenter and are upgrading to the Flash 10 player. But when the Flash 10 player came along, that presentation no longer loaded in my browser. This was due to a swf file that was not correctly decodable by any of the browsers that used the new Flash 10. A couple of months ago I wrote a post about a combination of Articulate presenter, Captivate, Camtasia, social media incorporation and a high definition webcam.

How to Create a Flash Lite RSS Reader- Part 1
With Flash Lite, you can create a customized RSS reader that will work with many mobile devices. Important Note: As you may know, Flash Lite does not parse XML directly. The first thing we’ll need to do is parse the XML feed and change it as to be loaded by Flash Lite. Notice that One of the easiest ways to push content to your mobile users is through an RSS feed. With an RSS reader, a mobile device can be set up to read feeds.

Learning in Hand Blog by Tony Vincent
Just point your mobile browser to mkaz.com/nametag and input your name. Multiple-choice quizzes, flash cards, math games, and the like are plentiful. Comics may sound like fluff, but consider that last year Google commissioned a comic book to tell the world about why they are making the Chrome web browser and the technologies inside of it. Create It in Your Hand, Share It with the World Below is some of my 30 minute talk at Handheld Learning 2009 in London. The presentation is called Create It in Your Hand, Share It with the World . Mobile Business Card
I have investigated other resources that have a mobile business card feature, and have found that often you need blue tooth, GPS, or an Internet browser on your cell phone to view and/or send digital business cards. Flash Card Reviews Students could create a "business card" as a 160 character flash card, give it a keyword and all the students in a class could exchange flash cards for review. Thanks to my twitter colleague Dan Rezac , I learned about a free resource called Contxts . Contxts using SMS text messaging to send and receive mobile business cards.
