Apple just announced that the app store has surpassed 100,000 apps. Because of the sheer volume of apps, it is getting harder and harder to locate good education and training apps.

Apple Mobile Learning Roadshow
I attended the Apple Mobile Learning Roadshow last week, held at Sydney’s Maritime Museum; and I know other M-Learning bloggers will be interested to hear about this event. The device was pre-loaded with a number of “apps” (applications/software) that supported learning, most of which were “connected” (i.e. As a designer myself, I happen to love love Apple products It was attended by well over 150 people, and a glance over the name badges indicated that most attendees were from the higher education sector. The iPad and its impact on m-learning.
Alan Kay made the following quote about the iPhone when it was launched:
"Make the screen 5 inches by 8 inches and you'll rule the world".

iPhone 3.0, mobile learning and the ID
The blogs and news feeds have been filled with news from yesterday's Apple's press event during which the iPhone 3.0 There are many learning industry practice leaders who believe that Apple's iPhone has jump-started the long-anticipated adoption of mobile devices, products and services for learning and performance support.
