Does banning cell phones in school cause more problems than integrating them?
am able to avoid the whole messaging thing during school, but if they allowed it i have the feeling my grades would go higher, and my learning would improve" What are your thoughts? On Five Difficulties in Mobile Learning Implementation
One cannot successfully implement the use of mobile devices for learning in schools without reflecting on the difficulties associated with this form of learning. Regardless of the device, mobile learning involves an added cost and while the school can support some of the burden, often this burden is left to parents. Highly structured.

SCVNGR: Cell Phone Scavenger Hunt Builder!
Museums, around the city, in the school, non-fiction, fiction.etc. However, they do have special fees for universities (so my guess is that a school could negotiate a very small fee). Thank you to Jeffrey Branzburg for pointing me towards a resource called SCVNGR. It is very easy to create your own SMS scavenger hunts.

This could eliminate the need for schools to purchase expensive LCD projectors, instead using their own cell phones as the projection tool. 1) By 2010 (2 years from now) you will be able to hook up to your laptop or desktop computer from anywhere using your cell phone. Attendance and school purchases could be taken via cell phone.

For about 5 months I (with help from friends) have been writing a guide to using the iPod touch, iPhone and now iPad in education. I’ll be happy to write an Android guide if I ever am able to get some devices).
