Today, however, that same family of 4 would typically be in the market for one cell phone per individual in the family making the market much larger, thus the stakes for mobile manufacturers much higher. Flash Player On Devices – Going Mobile Just Got Easier
But iPhone aside, Adobe has been doing a lot to try to get mobile device manufacturers to include the Flash Player on their devices as either a stand-alone player or a browser plug-in. The future is mobile, but will it be participatory or proprietary?
The key features of a vendor or proprietary system is that the manufacturer determines the specific purpose for its use and designs it so that the user can accomplish that specific use relatively easily and not much more. But will mobile learning be fundamentally truly participatory or actually proprietary? Are you concerned or complacent?
