One cannot successfully implement the use of mobile devices for learning in schools without reflecting on the difficulties associated with this form of learning.  It’s no secret that supporting a mobile device is expensive.  Regardless of the device, mobile learning involves an added cost and while the school can support some of the burden, often this burden is left to parents. In general, you can create slides with text and simple images but there's no support for any sort of animations, transitions or slide builds (popular in enterprise mlearning). Google Doc presentations can't include any sort of embedded media files though embedded links are supported. But until HTML5 gets out there and grows popular, linking people to rich media files and expecting acceptable cross-device performance is not a reality. With the availability of just-in-time access to information through mobile computing devices (including tablets ) the notion of knowledge (sometimes a.k.a.
