Challenge: How do you get vital clinic information to Californians, targeted around their location? They had a database of all the places where Californians could go to get the vaccine. The problem was – they had no simple way for people to access that information. Solution: Let people text in to find the closest clinic near them. The iPhone on Moodle project I mentioned last week is speeding up and when listening to the Moodle/iPhone buzz, the momentum is growing. So it's time for an update to introduce the new (old :-) kids on the block. Their help is already enabling extra possibilities. Julian was kind enough to set-up a dedicated space for the project ( [link] ); for which we are immensely grateful. At this moment there is not much on it, as we are using it to exchange ideas within the project team. -

They call it SixthSense. Demoed in a TED presentation Pranav Mistry has created an inexpensive wearable system that can project information about real world objects onto any surface. While most current AR implementations require you to pull out your phone, or wear a Heads Up Display (HUD) device, Mistry’s invention is worn around the neck and thus always accessible.
