gPhone- Android and the clone wars
The name Android evokes thoughts of the 1980s PC clone wars and the fact that Apple was ahead with the Macintosh for UI and experience, but Microsoft caught up by defining an OS and hardware clone manufacturers just conformed to a specificatio. This week Google announced Andriod, the long awaited gPhone.

Converting phone video to play on your PC
This is often because phone manufacturers are pushing the envelope in compressing media (especially video), but the PC players are a bit slow to keep up. In the mobile learning world we seem to be forever converting media from one format to another.
