Using Animoto to create short videos for mobile
Imagine a construction student tasked with creating an item for their e-portfolio, or to start off a class presentation. Animoto is an online site that will automatically analyse your images and music, and then composite them for you into a dynamic video with professional transitions and effects. Where do we begin? How about with a "how to" book?
Darren Draper just left a comment and question on my blog about how and where do we begin demonstrating the knowledge construction capabilities of cell phones? I propose that we begin in many places (Classroom 2.0, K12 Online Conference, Edubloggers) but also with a book...actually actually my book (I know, a little self-promotion) that I am finishing with ISTE, our

CCK08 - what is knowledge, where is the ethics and can it keep humanity together?
would like that type of profession J Now for the second article by Dave Cormier that can be downloaded for free (you need to register for the journal, but registering is also for free) and talks about the rhizomatic knowledge . Cormier concludes “The rhizomatic viewpoint (…) suggests that a distributed negotiation of knowledge can allow a community of people to legitimize the work they are doing among themselves and for each member of the group, the rhizomatic model dispenses with the need for external validation of knowledge, either by an expert or by a constructed
