more mediaBoard-style action
At the risk of sounding a bit like a stuck record, I still think the apex of creative, constructive, empowering mobile learning with ANY phone is all about sending and sharing media. I tend to go an about the mediaBoard, in this regard, but I only just stumbled on another, game-play variant called the Go Game.

Obama Mobile is Going to Get Out the Vote
In 2006, Mobile Commons’ platform was used in a study conducted by the New Voter’s Project, Princeton, and the University of Michigan . The Obama Campaign realized this and constructed the VP announcement to help them build critical mass with their mobile list.
There’s been good coverage of Obama’s Vice Presidential announcement all over the web (particularly GigaOM and the NY Times ). While there has been some grumbling about the announcement coming a little late because CNN got the scoop, overall the Obama campaign is being lauded for their marketing

Bogus research data on effectiveness of learning methods
Some of those circulating statistics turn out to be myths linked to professional names like Glasser and others. The first post in which Will Thalheimer refers to those fraudulent results dates from Monday, 1 May 2006: People remember 10%, 20%... One of his remarks is so simple and true: “Everyone who uses a citation to make a point (or draw a conclusion) ought to check the citation. One thing is for sure his comments are well constructed with strong arguments and data. Jay Cross got me straight on fraudulent information concerning the effectiveness of learning methods.
