Inside View from Ireland: Handheld Learning Jumps Up a Notch
« RIP Rick Bozzuto | Main December 16, 2009 Handheld Learning Jumps Up a Notch IN MY FACEBOOK CHANNEL , students are talking about the pleasure they get in touching their mobile screens. Both are handheld learning sweet spots that will extend my practise well beyond reading my Moodle mail on my Nokia E90 (at left). In my Google Docs channel, others talk about getting a rise out of technology that vibrates in their pockets. And with 3G services alongside free wifi on campus, things will definitely take off in my classroom next semester.

Duke Digital Initiative into its fourth wireless year | EDC Blog
Home About RSS Log in Duke Digital Initiative into its fourth wireless year Posted on January 30, 2009 by Hamish Filed Under Uncategorized As promised, I’d like to bring to your attention a few items regarding mobile learning (mLearning) and the way it’s being used in educational spheres. They kick started in 2004 as the Duke iPod Project, distributing around one-thousand, six-hundred 20 GB Apple iPods to first-year students. For the past few years, a trend has begun that has opened new possibilities for the ways in which students collaborate with the help of technologies they so fervently love to use.
