I have been developing web pages (for mobile and PC devices) for at least 15 years. As my web programming skills have improved, my page design skills have not. Mobile Learning Assessment – same…different then other course assessment?
The back drop of the question… I am preparing for a panel discussion at the 25 th Annual Distance Teaching and Learning Conference at the University of Wisconsin – Madison. Part of my responsibility is to cover the topic of mobile learning effectiveness (a.k.a. assessment). Mobile Learning Assessment I would argue that assessment is assessment.

S o what else can we do with a mobile device (like a cell phone)? Cell phones, aside from being a communication device also typically have audio, image and video capture support. At presentations and workshops, I am often asked to recommend tools for authoring mobile learning. do not recommend any tools, but do encourage them to check with their current authoring tool vendor to see what their plans are for mobile, as many vendors are moving in this direction.
